Fonz’s Success Story August 2024

💙Welcome home Fonz 💙
Fonz, a foreign rescue lurcher, originally from Gran Caneria, went missing his after owner left him with a friend overnight in Bolton BL4 on Wednesday 7th August. .
We placed a  feed station and remote camera outside where he went missing from. Although he had only been there one night he didn’t know anything else in the area as owner had come from Sussex so we thought there was a good chance he would return.
Fonz showed himself on camera in the early hours of Saturday and fed for a few minutes. The location was difficult to set a trap up as it was a block of flats. Not only that but, Fonz had been trapped in Sussex two weeks ago so it lessened the chances of him being trapped again so soon. We decided that the best way forward was for his owner to sit in her car near to where he had fed when it was very quiet at night then hopefully he would go to her. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances his owner had to leave after a while. Fonz turned up less than an hour after she had left.
Fonz had been seen on Sunday morning sat in a school field near to the flats. His owner sat in the same field for a while but Fonz didn’t show up. Later that day, we received another sighting that Fonz was back in the field sitting down where his owner had sat. She headed there straight away and Fonz went straight to her 💙.
