Lady, a female Lurcher, was lost on 15 February 2022, in the area of Blackpool.
After a few sightings initially, the sightings stopped and there were none except one sighting after a week. Initially a local group gave advice and helped with printing posters and we were then asked to help by Lady’s owner.
We set up feed stations and remote cameras, and thermal scoped the area, then on Friday 25 February, she was seen again.
We took the humane trap and set it up with remote cameras and waited and on the 26 February, thankfully at 13:35 Lady showed herself on camera entering the trap, tucked into a good meal and was safely trapped.
She had lost a lot of weight and was overjoyed to see her owner. She is very happy to be home and is on the road to recovery.
